Temperance Hill is another old vineyard that is among high demand from top winemakers. Goodfellow has been getting the fruit for just a few vintages now, but clearly knows exactly what to do with it! From Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Pinot Noir Pumphouse Block Temperance Hill opens slowly to cured meats, mint and bay leaves, tobacco and woodsmoke with black berry fruit at the core. Medium-bodied, the palate is grainy and fresh with intense, broody fruits and lots of savory, perfumed detail on the finish. This will benefit from another couple years in bottle."
